HOW TO REACH
EDGEWATER RESORT

The Edgewater Resort on Lake Bomoseen is located on Vermont Route 30 which crosses U.S. Route 4 midway between Rutland, VT and Whitehall, NY. The suggested route from the New York City area by car is: the NY Thruway to Albany, Exit 24, then the Northway (Route 87) to Exit 20. Proceed on NY Route149 to Fort Ann, then take U.S. Route 4 to Exit 4 (Lake Bomoseen Exit). Go north for 2 miles on Route 30 and you have arrived. Also convenient are: Taconic Parkway and N.Y. 22.

From Connecticut take U.S. Route 7 or Interstate 91. From Montreal use U.S. Route 7 until Middlebury and then VT 30. Consult your map for best route.

Distance to Lake Bomoseen from N.Y.C. - 240 miles, 185 miles from Boston, 90 miles from Albany, and 150 miles from Montreal.

Several buses arrive daily from Boston and NY into Rutland, VT. Check with Bus Station in your city for VT Transit and Greyhound schedules. Amtrak trains run daily from N.Y.C. to Rutland, VT and Whitehall, NY. Upon request, we will provide transportation from bus or train to our resort.
